Article Processing Charges (APC) & Waiver Policy

Pedagogia: Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidikan is committed to maintaining a sustainable Open Access model while ensuring that publishing costs do not become an insurmountable barrier to disseminating high-quality research.

1. Article Submission Charge: Free (IDR 0)

Pedagogia does not charge any initial article submission fees. Authors can submit their manuscripts for editorial screening and peer-review evaluation entirely free of charge.

2. Article Processing Charge (APC): IDR 750,000

If a manuscript is accepted for publication after passing the rigorous double-blind peer-review process, the authors are required to pay an Article Processing Charge (APC) of IDR 750,000.

  • This fee directly covers the costs associated with editorial workflow management, plagiarism screening, professional copyediting, layout formatting, PDF typesetting, digital archiving, and online hosting.

  • There are no hidden fees or extra surcharges based on the length of the manuscript, the number of pages, or the inclusion of color figures and tables.

3. Waiver and Discount Policy

To promote global academic collaboration and attract high-impact scholarship, Pedagogia offers a 100% APC waiver (completely free of charge) for manuscripts that meet one of the following criteria:

  • High-Impact Authorship: All contributing authors possess an h-index of 10 or higher on Scopus or Web of Science (WoS).

  • Global Collaboration: The manuscript is co-authored by at least four researchers representing four different countries across different continents.

How to Apply: Authors who meet these criteria should formally request the waiver during the initial submission process by leaving a clear note in the "Comments for the Editor" section or detailing it within their Cover Letter.
